Spotlight On Business

Eric Ward is an agent of American National Insurance Company and American National Property & Casualty. He started in the insurance business in 2003 as a life insurance agent, then in 2007 joined the 6th largest insurance broker in the country. While working for this large broker, Eric realized he appreciated the small, family feel of some of the older insurance companies. Old fashioned companies that don’t believe in advertising, but rather believe that taking care of clients is the secret to success. That’s why Eric chose Texas based, American National and has been growing his agency for more than three years. Eric’s client’s report they enjoy the laid back, yet professional atmosphere of his office. Eric believes he’s an educator…not a sales person. So, you’ll never hear anyone complain of feeling pressured!

Eric’s lived in Dalton since 1997, but likes to say he grew up in Ellijay and Dalton. A product of divorce, Eric spent every other weekend in Dalton, with this father. Therefore, Dalton feels as much like home as Ellijay! Eric has two children, 19 and 22. He’s an avid motorcyclist and musician. When he’s not working, you’ll likely see him out on the road or maybe even on stage somewhere playing the blues. But don’t let his laid back attitude dilute the obvious passion and sincerity he has for his clients and their families. Doing business with the Eric Ward Agency is simply a pleasure. He and his staff will insure you understand your coverage and get the most “bang” for your insurance dollar!
Eric specializes in life insurance, annuities, and wealth building strategies. And Luzmila, his assistant, is an expert when it comes to your home, auto, boats, and RV’s etc.
Located downtown, at 710 South Thornton, it’s easy to stop by and say hi.
