June Diplomat of the Month: Tim Rowe!

Tim Rowe PhotoI am privileged to be a Diplomat, and an Ambassador, for the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce.  It is such an exciting season for me to be a Chamber Diplomat as I see the pride in the business locations of our members as they begin to spruce up their properties.  I am Tim Rowe with the Dalton Funeral Home.  As a new business in 2012, one of the first things we did was join the Chamber.  But, we did not just join, we became actively involved members in the events of the Chamber.

Being involved with the Chamber has opened many doors for new friendships with other businesses from the Greater Dalton area.  It has been an honor to meet these wonderful people, and these friendships have allowed us to easily work together in an effort to promote Dalton as the place to locate your business.  Our monthly events, such as the Diplomat lunch, member mixers, and A.M. Connect, serve to develop these relationships.  I look forward to each Monday morning because that is the day selected to recognize a new Business of the Week.  It is rewarding to offer this type of encouragement to my fellow business people.

I appreciate the opportunities that are offered me through the Chamber.  I have just completed the 2015 Leadership of Dalton/Whitfield class that is presented through the Chamber.  This class enhanced my knowledge and I know I will be a better member for the Greater Dalton Chamber.  It is our goal, as a Chamber member and as a leader, to join with others to build a promising future for the Greater Dalton area and her residents.  I look forward to this challenge.

2015 has been a great time…I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for me with the Greater Dalton Area Chamber of Commerce.
